Today was our first day going to school and work, doing the whole morning routine without Daddy here. We've done it before plenty of times of course, but it feels a little different now that we can't call and talk to him. We miss him a lot but we know we will be seeing him soon!
Harper started another week of soccer today. She loves soccer and wanted her hair in braids for the occasion. Not one braid - two braids. She was very specific. And then she wanted a headband too. When I mentioned headband, Jasper wanted one too, so he found one of the headbands from the 4th of July and put it on. So silly.
We read Daddy's letter at dinner tonight and he had written "Jesus Loves You" on the front of the card. I felt it was a perfect night for heart-shaped suckers!
