The road trip went really well. It took about 2 1/2 hours and Harper did really well there and back!! Such a good baby. It was a really beautiful drive and we both thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. Driving through a ton of small towns and seeing the wide landscapes Texas provides.
For those who don't know - Dublin, Texas (aka Dr. Pepper, Texas) is famous for its Dr. Pepper. It's also the city that Jane (Harper's Grandma) grew up and went to high school in. As I was informed by Jon on the way down there, Dublin is the only place that still makes the original recipe for Dr. Pepper, using Pure Cane Sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. Dublin Dr. Pepper can be hard to find and it's a treasured treat for many Texans who love it. If you're really interested, you can read the whole history here. Dublin is a teeny, tiny town but it's got its one thing - the Dr. Pepper plant. We took some pictures to celebrate the event.

I LOVE Dublin Dr. Pepper! Most of the Chicken Expresses around here have it now. :)
I'll have to get Randy to take me to Dublin. :)
Cracks me up how small she looks, Harper going to love DR Pepper or Mountain Dew?
