Today we visited the PPediatrician for Harper's 15 month well baby checkup. After learning they didn't have our appointment scheduled (grrrr...), they said they could work us in to see the Head Pediatrician. It turned out to be great since Harper LOVED him. He was very friendly and had Harper from the get-go when he pulled out a little Elmo figurine to "practice" on before he used the stethoscope, and checked her eyes and ears. She bought into it hook, line and sinker and was (mostly) a very good girl during the exam.
He was able to get a good look into her mouth and confirmed our suspicions that she does have a molar breaking through on the top left. He said the lower right will be next and the other two show no signs of coming in. We anxiously await each tooth because Harper's reaction to teething is a terrible diaper rash usually lasting 5 or 6 days. It makes us all miserable, most of all Harper.
He also said there's absolutely nothing to worry about with her in regards to not walking. He did a little "test" which he said was to test her reflexes. She reacted quickly and said it'll be anytime now that she takes her first steps (alone).
I've listed her height and weight on the growth chart to the right. She's in the 50th percentile for weight and the 90th percentile for height. Long and lean!
Overall she got a great report and he was very happy with her milestones and said she's doing great.
That's our girl!
